The National Association For Female Executives is the leading group for women aspiring to become executives in their companies.
What I want to highlight today is the top 50 companies that are ideal for female accountants to advance their careers.
At the top of the list are KPMG and Ernst and Young.
I’ve compiled surveys completed by NAFE from 2013 and 2014 spotlighting the top 50 companies for female executives as a starting resource for you.
Now that you understand which companies are ideal for you, let’s quickly discuss the professional licenses you need to succeed at these companies.
The obvious choice is to pass the CPA exam, especially if you work for a big four firm such as KPMG.
However if public accounting is not the path you want to take you can absolutely substitute the CPA for taking the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam, the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Exam, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam or even the Enrolled Agent (EA) exam.
